There is an accessible entrance to the building starting from the outdoor areas of the Glass Courtyard at the Cable Factory.

ACCESSIBLE SEATING

The first row of the Dance House's auditorium is fully accessible. The seating in the Dance House rises steeply, and access is via stairs; there is no elevator to the seating areas. The spaces in the Dance House are adaptable, and any special seating arrangements and accessible seats will be communicated along with the event information.

Assistants for customers with mobility impairments can attend performances at the Dance House free of charge; a free assistant ticket can be obtained at the time of ticket purchase.

ACCESSIBLE RESTROOMS

Public restrooms and an accessible restroom are located in the Dance House Lobby.

INDUCTION LOOP

An induction loop is available in the Dance House performance spaces for hearing aid users. The coverage area includes the entire auditorium.

Auditoriums

The Dance House Helsinki has two performance halls, Erkko Hall and Pannu Hall. The Erkko Hall has 700 seats and the Pannu Hall 235. For events in the Pannu Hall, the seating is usually unnumbered.

To ensure good visibility to everyone, the auditoriums are ascending. Only the row 17 in Erkko Hall has a slight restriction in visibility. Any other restrictions in visibility due to staging or other performance-specific solutions are mentioned in the ticket sales. Please note that there is no lift to the upper section. When choosing your seat, please note that only the first row is accessible.

The auditoriums of the performance halls can be packed up, and commissioned either partly or fully. As the seating structure is not fixed, there may be occasional swaying, especially in the Erkko Hall, when the audience leaves after a performance. The auditorium meets all safety standards, with the lowest level of sway in the lowest rows.
