Introducing Mikko Hyvönen
Mikko Hyvönen is a choreographer and dancer, graduated from P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels at 2010 and is based in Helsinki at the moment. He has been working as a performer internationally with various groups and constellations of artists.
Currently as a choreographer he’s working with KOSMOS project that was selected as part of the SPARKS programme of Dance House Helsinki. His latest choreographic works have been crystal pieces: human beings in collaboration with the Off/Balance group, solo work Organic synthetic, choreography for a performance called Solitude by a musician Lauri Sallinen and a creation with the youth dance group Taika based in Kuhmo. During the autumn 2022 he is performing at Zodiak in a creation called Eros by Marianna Henriksson and Anna Mustonen.
Mikko Hyvönen's SPARKS premiere will be seen at Pannu Hall in October 2023.
